My work defies simple categorization, riding an edge between abstraction and realism. The medium I choose for any given work is determined by the concept and the idea I wish to convey.

My favored subjects are majestic natural landscapes, traditional folk art from Eastern Europe, as well as my view on situations that attract my attention. Often psychological leitmotifs drive my subject matter.

I also rely on travel for inspiration. Upon return from a trip, I head straight to my studio while the impressions are still fresh. My creative process is similar to organic growth that emerges over time; it may take weeks or months to develop and complete each piece.

My work has been included in a number of art exhibitions thought the US and internationally in Berlin and Romania. National venues include Katy Contemporary Art Museum, Katy, Texas; Fine Art Museum in Gadsden, Alabama; North Gallery Department of Art and Design of San Jacinta College, Houston, Texas; Nicolet Gallery at Nicolet College, Wisconsin; Lawndale Art Center, Houston, Texas; and Dacia Gallery, New York City, NY; among others.
