Born in 1996, Pol Petrino is an Italian artist currently based in Gadigal Land, Sydney. Petrino’s artistic journey began during his university studies, but it was after graduation that he truly found his creative voice. Influenced by his encounter with architect and artist Bijoy Jain, he developed a unique technique using soil and stones from his travels, infusing his art with the essence of diverse landscapes.
Seeking synergy between humans and nature, Petrino’s art transcends aesthetics, conveying a deep appreciation for the harmony between humanity and the natural world. Through his work, he shares his experiences, emotions, and reflections, inspiring viewers to connect with the universal language of nature and culture.
His art serves as a bridge between modern society and the ancestral wisdom held within the Earth’s fabric. Petrino’s creations embody a timeless message, inviting us to reflect on our place in the intricate web of life and the beauty of our planet.
