Russame Satrakul

My name is Russame, which means "Ray" in English. I'm a painter from Chiang Mai, Thailand, and I've been creating art for over 20 years. My journey has taken me through exhibitions, custom commissions, and the daily rhythm of making art to earn a living. But sometimes, I paint to restore my own spirit, to find clarity amidst life’s confusions. In those moments, I lose myself and forget my troubles.

Painting is not just my job; it’s my life. There are pieces I need to paint, and there are pieces I long to paint. Creating the art that calls to me has always been my dream, and I hope that being here will make that possible—allowing me to paint what I truly desire and still make a living.
