Stev Bonhage

Stev was born in the former German Democratic Republic but later grew up in Sweden during his teenage years. He picked up and fell in love with photography shortly after he dropped out of school at the age of 17. It didn’t take long for photography to take over Stev’s focus in life and while some call it a profession the camera has always been more of a tool for him, both in life and work.

Stev takes great pride in his work. He never settles for second best and always strives for his version of “perfection”. It is the dedication and passion in the craft that separates a snap shot from a photograph. Travelling and working in over 30 countries, specialising in portrait, action/sport, editorial, travel and event photography has created the work you are looking at today. He is currently based in Asia and Australia.
