As a child, art was my great escape from the real world. Whenever I faced challenges, Disney animations became my sanctuary. But watching wasn't enough; I felt an urge to recreate these scenes on paper. Each stroke of my pencil or marker led me deeper into my therapeutic world of imagination.
To this day, spending time with canvas and colors transports me back to that world, allowing me to feel like a child again, be myself, and relax in the present moment.
In my 20s, I spent countless hours in art shops, reveling in the tactile experience of different paper qualities and enjoying their unique textures. I would often imagine the artwork I would create on each type of paper. I taught myself step by step, placing complete trust in my abilities, and with confidence, I painted.
However, after many years of neglecting art and focusing solely on fashion and pattern making, a sign came to me. In 2017, during a visit to my beautiful homeland of Croatia, I wandered through the old town of Split, captivated by the numerous art galleries and captivating street art.
