Vachagan Amroyan

My name is Vachagan (Vache) Amroyan, an Armenian artist whose passion for art began in the city of Vanadzor. Inspired by life's simple beauties and the complexities of nature, I create art that reflects my admiration for the world around me. I've dedicated years to studying and perfecting my craft, beginning at Vanadzor's St. Aghajanyan Art School and later at the Fine Arts College after Panos Terlemezyan in Yerevan. My works, often exploring the figurative and the abstraction of mostly fish and human silhouettes in different surroundings, are my way of communicating with viewers, offering them a glimpse into my perspective of our world.

My journey has led me to become a member of the Union of Artists of Armenia and share my vision through various solo and group exhibitions. With each piece, whether on a small or large scale, I strive to merge my artistic philosophy with the aesthetic sensibilities of my audience. Saatchi Art has provided me a platform to extend this connection to an international community, and I am eager to see where this shared path of art and appreciation takes us.

In 1996-2000 I studied at Vanadzor St. Aghajanyan Art School.
In 2000-2002, I studied fine arts (applied jewelry art) at the No. 1 Vanadzor College named after Soghomon Abovyan in Vanadzor.
2002-2005 I studied fine art and drawing at Vanadzor State Pedagogical Seminary.
In 2006-2011 I studied in Fine Arts College after Panos Terlemezyan in Yerevan.
Since 2021, I have been a member of the Union of Artists of Armenia.
