Rudolf Valster (1963) lives and works in Amsterdam (Netherlands) Valster is inspired by 17th century art (so called golden age). Though his art is figurative it is as much about painting itself, brushstrokes, forms and colours. Valster's techniques can be very different: watercolour, acrylics, oilpaint, egg-tempera and digital painting.
