Vivi Salapasidou

I was brought up in Thessaloniki, Greece, where I studied Archaeology and Arts.

I dedicated myself to painting, jewelery design/making (gold and silver, sometimes combined with gemstones) and sculpting (clay, artificial stone).

In my visual work, I deconstruct the image. Object size and distance are changed, yet maintaining the original proportions without distortions. Visual cues are created by accentuating key elements and colours. The style allows the spectator to reconstruct the image in her own way.

My work has been displayed in group exhibitions in Thessaloniki and Athens.
