Dan Deming

I was born in Flint, Michigan on Dec 2, 1945 I was raised primarily in DC and have lived in Baltimore, California and have lived and traveled to Europe, North Africa and Canada. I am currently based in the So. California area where I have my own art gallery and StudioI grew up with American Artist . But I have been fascinated with all Art world wide and their ancient cultural influences that we don't have in the states.
I am fascinated with the view point of the Artist. The Artist is a being, communicating to other beings, through the physical universe. The tricky part is that they use the physical universe to do it. What the Artist and their viewers have forgotten is that they are not any part of the physical universe but are in fact creating it. So manipulation of the physical universe to talk to others is where Art lies. Other Artist might choose to go other ways but no matter what they do this is what is happening. Check it out for your self.

Like Andy Warhol I want to paint Nothing. Unlike him I don't paint nothing I paint nothingness. My Series is called " The Camouflaged Hole Series". I paint the hole over so you can't see it. The Hole or nothingness is Hidden.
