Muhammad Abrar (born 1987) is a visual artist and educationist currently based in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his BFA from National College of Arts, Lahore in 2014 and was awarded Honors for his efforts.
Abrar's art practice explores the connection between the traditional and the contemporary. His work has been exhibited in numerous galleries nationally and internationally. Alongside maintaining a diverse art practice, Abrar is currently mentoring a social enterprise that works for contemporary ideas of art education. He also held a faculty position in the Fine Arts department at the National College of Arts, Lahore. Select artworks of his are housed within the permanent collection of the Medina Art Center, Medina and Ambiance Boutique Art Hotel Karachi.
