Marzia Gamba

Marzia Gamba is an Italian still life photographer based between Milano and New York, who specializes in conceptual food and product branded stories as well as still life photography for major commercial brands and global editorial platforms. She creates compositions where photography meets sculptures and graphic design , often combining organic elements like fruits and flowers , with objects , the resulting images showcase interesting worlds where shapes, textures, materials, lights and colors blend together living in harmony inside fine, rich, and detailed compositions. She plays with the viewers perception using shadows or unusual perspective to create a second layer of meaning and to intrigue the observer in her visual universe. Marzia combines an accurate use of technique and creativity playing with reality and perception.


Her work has been exhibited in many galleries in New York and Italy, she is also part of the group of artists of Saatchi Art online gallery. She is currently working as a freelance photographer at her studio in Brooklyn and photo editor at Blink.

Marzia has a degree on Graphic Design and Art Direction from NABA Milan where she started to explore the possibilities of Photography combined with her interest in Design and Fine Arts. She continued her photographic studies at the International Center of Photography in New York were she graduated in General Studies . She also attended different courses and workshops at the Central Saint Martins University in London.
