EDUCATION
I am from India who now lives in Wisconsin, US. India, as we know, has one of the richest and most ancient cultural heritage and I think, that reflects in my work!
When I was a kid, I used to draw and my mother used to put it up on the walls for the guests to see. I knew from early on, that drawing and painting will always be a part of my life.
I graduated as an Interior Designer and worked with various firms/ companies like Tesco, Landmark group for 6-7 years. Destiny offered me a sojourn in America. And so here I am again - back to my first love, painting! I feel inspired by everything around me, the clear skies, sun drenched landscapes, vast blue seas, the Meadows. I work in a variety of different mediums, depending on the day, my state of mind & and the flow of inspiration. I intuitively get drawn to colors. I love painting, it is my soul food, my happy place!
