Joseph Skarzynski

I have been very fortunate in finding my vocation in the practice of medicine while my avocation in art. The practice of medicine invokes a certain sensitivity to my works. Personally the creativity in art and the bright colors of alcohol inks have brought me out of the depths of depression.

During my pre-medical training I took time from these studies to take multiple art courses. Here I expanded my skills in oils, acrylics and egg tempera.
While in my residency program in New York City I attended art courses at the 92nd Street Y, Parsons School of Art and Design and New York University. The many art museums in the city served as great inspiration.

I have exhibited at: The Bailey Art Center, Pompano Beach; Gallery 21, Fort Lauderdale; The Box Gallery, Palm Beach: Arts Warehouse, Delray Beach: Hotspots Gallery, Fort Lauderdale, 9 Muses Art Gallery, Fort Lauderdale, Broward Arts.
