Kristin Ellison

Kristin Ellison is an acrylic painter and maker of assemblages containing found objects. Born in Hartford, CT, she served as an editor of fine art and photography books at Bulfinch Press, as well as at Rockport Publishers where she focused on developing graphic design titles. She currently lives in Ventura, Calif with her two husky mixes Levi Brown and Athena.

Ellison received her BFA in painting from Hartwick College. Additionally, through The School for International Training she studied Thangka painting in Kathmandu, Nepal, with Tibetans living in exile.
