Irina Sumanenkova

My name is Irina, I am a painter from Kyiv, capital of Ukraine.

Art is what I do, and what I love. I believe we all start out as artists, and at some point, each of us has picked up a pencil or marker to connect with our creative side. I just decided to stick with it and have stayed committed to developing my style, which consists of a wide range of realism, symbolism, neo-impressionism and a little bit of both. My subject matter is also wide ranging, consisting of concept, wildlife and fantasy. My favorite genres are: portrait, landscape (especially mountains), animalistics, floristics, illustration.

I am a M. A. of Fine Arts. While studying painting in Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, I understood soon that it become a part of my life and world vision. It was amazing change for me, because I always thought about myself as a graphic artist (pen and ink on paper). After the graduating in 2004 I keep painting until now.

I keep painting to this day. Collectors in France and Ukraine have over 20 of my works.

In 2004 I have graduated Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. I have a diploma of Master of Fne Arts.
