Mitch Nye

After a 40-year career in the corporate world I retired in order to return to my earlier endeavors in the creative arts; including painting, drawing and writing.

When I was in high school, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I began creating art works. This continued through college. Once I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee I entered the business world and shortly thereafter began raising my family. As a result I completely stepped away from my creative side.

Now, as planned, I work on something creative essentially every day.

Other than taking numerous art courses in high school, I have no formal art training. In college I didn't take any art courses, but I continued painting and drawing, selling my works to help pay for my education.

My work can be found in a few places as of this writing, including online galleries, my Facebook art page and Instagram. I hope to have some of my pieces exhibited in brick and mortar galleries soon.
