Rô Gonçalves

Brazilian artist, Art History and Painting teacher, I have been painting professionaly for over thity-five years, to study, research and learn new techniques is my real passion!

I did start with oil on canvas, then acrilic, where I went deeper on new techniques, always seeking new possibilitys on different materials.

Nowdays, my work is focused on watercolor on paper, wich I prepare my own ink, using dryed pigments and it's mediums. The final art is a fragment of the painted watercolor, digitly handled for print on fine art paper.
The print itself is the original, and it has no copies.
