Marija Knezevic

Born in 1967.
Beginning with 1991, member of the Association of Serbian Painters, freelance artist.
The reflection in the mirror is simple “face”, and the portrait is A Soul. Starting the art piece, “working on” one personality - portrait is the beginning of the adventure of discovering deeper layers of character, both portrayed and personal. The contents of one face, one head, are sufficiently rich and complex both artistically and psychological, a strong motive for creation, research. Every new painted portrait is a new surprise.

Graduated in 1991 at Faculty of Painting, University of Belgrade in the class of professorMomciloAntonovic
MA completed in 1994 in the same class.

From 1988 to 2012 participated with her works at 100 exhibitions in Yugoslavia, Serbia and abroad. Also created several public performances.
