Hildegard's work in glass is abstract, geometric and colourful. Her artworks incorporate dichroic glass allowing light to transform the image, changing, shifting and surprising. In her assemblages of glass she strives to 'Make the Invisible Visible' and create unexpected temporal beauty.
Inspiration comes from a variety of sources, light in nature and in architectural space being key influences. Geometry and pattern continue to fascinate the artist. Architecture and textiles are another interest.
Winner of 'Best overall artist' at PURE Arts Autumn Art Fair 2016 and Best Mixed Medai prize in 2018 & shortlisted for the London Contemporary Art Prize 2018.
