Neil Erickson

I was born in 1953 in northern Alberta and spent my childhood amid the open landscapes of British Columbia’s Peace River region. In 1972, I moved to Vancouver to study at the University of British Columbia and the Vancouver School of Art, now Emily Carr University of Art + Design. After my formal training, I continued to develop my artistic voice independently.
Since 2006, I have lived in Vernon, BC with my wife of 36 years and our two adult children, painting from my home studio located in one of the outbuildings on our property.
