Paris Karamitsios

Hi! I’m Paris and I am an Athens-based street photographer. I enjoy travelling and going on short excursions, which I cannot imagine without my camera. Photography connects me with people and places, not only when I meet them, but also when I revisit them during the editing of my photos. I’m interested in whatever catches the eye and my goal is to discover and reveal beauty in the small details of life as I run across them.

University

I have hosted four photography exhibitions in Athens and Thessaloniki, Greece. I have also published the photography album "Living Light" with IANOS Publications of Greece. This album is a tribute to the intense light of the Greek summer, the rocky islands with their distinctive architecture and barren landscape, their permanent residents and ephemeral visitors and the blue and white which dominate all other colors.
