Linda Collura

My paintings and drawings are inspired by nature, images, and imagination. Mixed media painting allows me to dramatize light, shadow, color, and the combination of each, depending on what the media is communicating. I am intrigued by the alchemy that exists between the subject, technique, and the medium to inform the process and tell a story. I have a studio in Pittsboro, North Carolina where I create mixed media paintings, drawings, and other objects.

Graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree from SUNY College of Art and Design, a Graduate Teacher Certification from Rider University, and a Masters Degree in Art Education from East Carolina university.
