Helen Wright

I was born and raised in a small village in England called Marple Bridge. I moved to Canada twenty years ago and currently live in the capital city Ottawa.

I'm influenced by the colours and shapes around me, and especially how they move together. I'm in love with resin for its glass-like finish, and the ability it has to capture fluid movement in time; Similar to Amber.

I love using resin to capture the wind moving through a landscape, a sea crashing in on the beach or the essence of a bumblebee. ...All caught in time by the beauty of glass-like resin.
