Romanian born abstract artist living in North Germany

Graduated with a degree in Geography - Geology - German Literature in Bucharest

I am in influenced by the Abstract Expressionism loving intuitive painting, mark making and building up layers upon layers, mixing different media following my own intuition in a playful joyeous way.

Density and transparency. Veiling and revelation. Restlessnes and rest.
Identity, memory, past and future, metamorphosis .... A few of my thoughts and topics concerning me as an expression of my two cultural indentities trying to combine different experiences from two different worlds in this dance of "in between".

My goal is to bring all my stories into the world, my love for the beautiful nature in this wonderful area I am living here in the northern part of Germany and to evoke my own emotions through mostly abstract art.

Favourite Materials: Canvas, Wood, Glass, Paper

Statement:

I have always carried with me the wish to be an artist. In order to find new ideas I need to play and have fun and let go out of control. Times of complete freedom just playing around with materials are important and a chance for intuition.
