Marion Bakker

Creation is magic. Seeing something in “nothing”. And then communicate it’s sheer beauty. That which is possible for me to express in words I am not tempted to capture on linen as well. To me, painting is the most delightful way of expressing what I cannot say in words. My art captures the moments of grace when I experience the true equality of my inner self with natures phenomenons around me, unity of soul with my fellow creatures. This way the imperceptible is being shaped. Whenever I work abstract, I paint the experience, the new energy that came to be after this connection and so make that what can not be percieved figurative. Colours represent energies, show depths , determine the timbre.

40 Years ago I started working as a teacher, but soon after that I found out that working as an artist was an even bigger passion for me.I followed drawing- and painting classes from a lot of other artists, while discovering my own handwriting in paintings and ceramics.
