Valera Hrishanin

My name is Valera Hrishanin, and I am an artist from Ukraine. As a child, sports were a big part of my life, especially basketball, and I dreamed of becoming a professional athlete. But everything changed when doctors diagnosed me with a neurological illness, and I had to give up sports. That period was very difficult for me and left me feeling lost.

For a long time, I searched for something that could give my life new meaning. One day, almost by accident, I started drawing. What began as a simple попытка soon became my passion. My first drawings were made with pencil in an ordinary notebook, but with every new work I felt more connected to art.

Over time, my skills grew, surprising both my family and friends. This journey led me to organize my first solo exhibition in my hometown of Dykanka, which became an important milestone in my life as an artist.

I have also taken part in television talent shows in Ukraine and abroad, winning some of them. One of the things that made me stand out was my ability to draw with both hands at the same time, which became a unique part of my artistic identity.
