Petra Meikle - Ocean Artist Coastal Wall Art

Petra Meikle is an Australian contemporary artist creating expressive, large-scale coastal artworks inspired by the shifting tides, seascapes, and textures of the reef. Based in Cairns, her paintings are deeply influenced by the landscapes and marine life of Far North Queensland.

Specializing in abstract ocean art and seascape compositions, Petra works with a blend of mixed media — including acrylic, ink, and natural texturing elements — to evoke movement, reflection, and light. Her style bridges the emotional with the environmental, creating coastal wall art that brings the sea into modern interiors.
