......Good Day,
My name is Doug Lemke. This project
was initiated in 1995 for the purpose of
bringing my personal vision of the
natural beauty and natural history of
the U.S. to the art and publishing
industries in the form of high quality
photographic images.

......I am introducing
a new series of works which have not
been seen until now, along with some
of my more well established pieces
which have been remastered and
reintroduced. A main feature of this
new collection is the Black & White
series. These have been given the
Ansel Adams treatment based on a
technique I have developed over time
intended to heighten drama. The color
images in this new release have been
similarly worked and in some cases
the color has only been reintroduced
back into the scene in varying amounts
after the Black & White treatment. This
seems to produce an effect which I will
avoid describing and simply allow you
to experience.
