Achmad Krisgatha

Achmad Krisgatha (Bandung, 1979) is an artist/DJ based in Jakarta. He graduated from Interior Design, STDI Bandung. He has attended residencies in Lijiang Studio, Kunming, Yunnan, PRC (2006-2007) and The AeA, Sattal Estate, Uttarakhand, India (2009). As a grant recipient from National Gallery of Indonesia, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (2016) he also actively involved in many workshops and seminars, including at the 10th Annual Carnival of e-Creativity, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya, India and OK. The latest exhibition he participated in are, including, “Salihara International Performing Arts Festival (2018); “Wimba Kala”, Exhibition of Cadast Pictures, National Gallery of Indonesia (2017); and “Epicentrum”, the Great Indonesian Art Exhibition, North Sulawesi Cultural Park (2016). He has held several solo exhibitions, including “Sideless” District Sides, Semarang (2009), “Space Athorn City / Aelectrochrome” Shelter, Kunming, Yunnan, PRC (2006), and “Channel Of Light” National Gallery of Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia (2018).
