Laurence Elliott

Born a bastard lovechild of a dodgy South African used car salesman, to Lizzy in Chichester (uk) dec 1979, young Laurence wasn't allowed out to play with the "rough" kids on the estate in Woodingdean & drew his own comics instead of learning significant lessons. Diabetic at the age of 11, went to Florida on dreamflight in 'Woody Woodpecker' group with disabled kids & felt lucky about only having the sweet water & not spinal meningitis with the blindness. Always had an urge to draw, paint & related tasks like singing & songwriting. Temporarily living & working in Chichester, I used to live in Berlin & Glasgow, where I had a studio & played a part in nigh legendary art, music, fashion venue 'the chateaux', before the stairs fell on Rab & the fire killed the dream. I currently have a few copies of 2 books of drawings (with some writing) I've made; 'SIGH AID' (2009) & 'CARE (or life is hard, people are proven stupid & the whole set-up is wrong)' (2010), if you'd like copies please contact me & I can post you them 5 for both, or SIGH AID is 3.50 & 'CARE...' is 2.50.
