Markus Magenheim lives and works at Leimen near Heidelberg, Germany.
Nevertheless he usually prefers watercolours he also works with oil and graphite. His work doesn't ground on specific paragons, yet he's an admiror of the old masters as well as he's inspired by contemporary figurative painters. A very special love he cherishes for the newer American Realists like Grant Wood and Andrew Wyeth.
Markus Magenheim attended the Free School of Arts in Stuttgart from 1998-2002. He studied Painting and Illustration.
In 2010 he readopted his studies at the State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe. He finished his studies in 2012.
Several group and solo exhibitions in Southern Germany and Switzerland.
