Sergio Santin

I was born in Milan in February 22th 1948 and now I'm living through Venice an the ancient village of Sarone where I have my art studio. I've combined the professional activity of architect with the artistic one, focusing in particular on pen-and-ink drawings.
My favorite subject are the reinterpretation of simbolism of nature, the representation of the landscape purified from the slash of contemporaneity, the representation of the picture mutuated by media and placed side by side by artistics quotes from the past with an exasperate use of analytic sign derived from the study of the great artistic history of the past.

I've studied Art at Brera Academy of Milan and I've a master's degree in Architecture from Politecnico of Milan.
