Ivan Turetskyy

I was born on 17 August 1956 in Krasnoyarsk (Russia) in the family of politically repressed by Soviet regime. Studied in the Art College named after Ivan Trush in Lviv and later in 1982 graduated from Lviv State Institute of Art. Currently I live and work in Lviv.
I'm a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Besides painting and graphics I also work in other genres of applied arts. I've authored a lot of territorial and private coat of arms and family emblems. In particular - small National Emblem of Ukraine and the current National Emblem of Lviv.
I regularly takes part in international art pleinairs. My works are in numerous collections of Ukrainian museums and private collections in Europe, Asia and the USA.
