I've been a painter for 30 years. My love is drawing so I incorporate that into the paintings as much as possible. I love to do portraits. It's very liberating and challenging at the same time.

Since childhood I've been painting and drawing. Most people can say that, but in my case I really began my education when I decided to ignore the traditional system and threw myself entirely into my art. To my great surprise I found that my curiosity about math and history and geometry all began to spark and through my art my natural ability to learn became enhanced. Through that all things were put into perspective.

Visual art isn't decoration. It's a language and a window into the real world. A means of communication that is sorely misunderstood. One which reaches parts of the human psyche which few others can reach.

I come from Ireland but have been living in Paris since 2004. I have run art galleries and taught.

Everything I do revolves around making art and the art world.
