Dorothee Kraemer

Dorothee works in Esslingen near Stuttgart in the South of Germany. Signature feature of her mostly abstract works are cheerful vibrant colours. Colour and text fields are formed with a fascinating technique of collaging and multiple overlaying. She often uses biblical texts and musical scores in her works.
Three-dimensional depth is created by using multiple layers. Some texts are easy to identify, others are only revealed after close inspection. Again and again you can discover new details.
