Thomas Devaney

I am pleased to show you my work. I like to use many mediums - from all types of paint, to metals and wood and paper. Each piece I create represents something that I have experienced over my journeys around the country, and around the world. I was previously an opera singer, and traveled for months at a time. I learned a lot from the people I met, the friends I made, and the works I performed. No one who travels reports that the road is "dull"- quite simply, it is as varied as the stars in the sky.

Tom Devaney is a former opera singer/arts teacher/director. He received his BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts, and has traveled nationally and internationally performing in musical theater and opera. When he’s not in the studio creating new works of art, he helps run a successful consulting practice which delivers solutions to companies utilizing his artistic roots. He is married 38 years to his high school sweetheart; they reside in both NYC and South Orange, NJ.
