Mammadhuseyn Huseynov is one of the leading art figure of Azerbaijan. He is scientific researcher and professor of Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts and expert of Azerbaijan Carpet Museum. His book "Pazyryk Rug and Universe of Symbols" is first extensive scientific monograph about the ancient rug sample of the world.

2003- Special Reward for ""Soufi" artwok by The Ministry of Youth of Azerbaijan Republic.
2018 – Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Republic.
1982-1986 – Art School named after Azim Azimzade, Baku
