'Semiundersilk' is a series of paintings created with silkscreening tools. The paintings have water, such as the ocean, river, swimming pool, fishbowl, and more, as the subject matter, and they are displayed as paintings or exist as the .jpg image file. Also, they sometimes become the mapping source of a piece lost in scale and video work.
I have walked along the sandy beach when sea mist veiled the ocean.
The boundaries of the sky, horizon, and ground were blurred. The boundaries of the front of my foot and far distance have vanished. In the space, I felt like I have lost the scale of my body. I am drawing the ocean, river, and water in a glass. I hope the work depicting water, sky, and the ground becomes a space with and without boundaries, and with but lost with a sense of direction.
