Fiona Henderson

My practice constantly moves between painting and photography and the two mediums feed into each other. I have worked in most genres but I keep coming back to still life as a launching space for many of my projects. Still life painting and photography can take every-day, unnoticed objects and show them to be something extraordinary. Most of my inspiration comes from my everyday experiences, a glimpse of a familiar face or object in an unfamiliar light can start a whole new chain of creativity for me.
