Tendekayi Tigere

I was born in 1977 in Zimbabwe and raised in the rural area were I used to see my grandfather Gabriel Tandi and my father Thomas Tandi making art from wood and stone.
I started learning to carve at the age of 5 years but I was a full-time sculptor in 1998 after the completion of my tertiary education.
I have attended international art events in USA and Asia. Like the New York art expo and the Ciie in China.
I also represent works of other artists when doing my international exhibitions and when doing my yearly exports to different customers.
I work with my brothers and many other famous artists and upcoming artists.
I make sure that all the art exports which pass through my workshop are upto the standard and are high end products.
