Maria Polyakova

My name is Maria Polyakova. I live in Ukraine, the city of Kyiv. I am fond of drawing from 3 years. Do not imagine myself without art. I like to paint oil paints. I work in genres: still life, landscape, portrait and genre painting. I am still working with acrylic paints and watercolor pencils. I like to take plots for my paintings from the modern life of people. I am inspired by children, animals and birds, picturesque landscapes of my Ukraine. Favorite artists: Velasquez, Monet, Serov, Murashko and others.

At first I went to a children's studio. Then I studied at the State Taras Shevchenko School of Arts in Kyiv, Ukraine. I graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, Ukraine(2001- 2007) Now I am a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine(2014)
