Lost Artworks

There is a stigma within the art world that without provenance... without a past.. .the art is not worth having. Once the original owner or artist has moved on or passed away, artworks are discarded. Does this mean that they should be any less loved? That there wasn't time and effort put into the creation of these pieces?
Our aim is to subvert this thinking and give new life to arts that have a past, a loving history, but one that no-one knows. After all, would a child be treated with the same mindset? We think not, and all our pieces are someone's creation - someone's children.
