Luis Medrano

I was born in the Dominican Republic , came to New York in the early 1980s
When I was 11 years old, I was amazed how every inch of New York walls and trains was full of graffiti.. it was like another world. I was always drawing all the time and makes a couples of paintings
For my mom and my sister..I never went to school of art...my talents was interrupted
by the circumstances of struggling for a while, but was still making my drawings.
One day my wife saw me how deep I loose
myself in to my higher conciousness and the message I'm trying to give thru my drawings and she told me , I should try doing big painting with drawings .and that's where I started doing big paintings.

I never know what I'm going to paint, but I know there's something that wants to comes out of my subconsciousness. It's like when you are thirsty... Thankyou for your support
