Vladimir Petrov

I was born and raised in Moscow. As a child, i wanted to become a writer, not an artist. When i grew up, gained life experience, this dream came true. - I'd been studying on the journalistic"s faculty from 1982 till 1987.
In 2005 i published a book of children"s stories. But by that time i could already draw something. I started working in this business around 2001.
Over time i iimproved as an artist. I have reached an understanding of what the average level, high level and the highest level of skill.
Currently as an artist-writer, i can present you my unique works.
What can be found in my works of value? It is what never becomes obsolete. It is ideas.
How do my works differ from other artworks? I do not make copies and do not create my works from natural forms. My unchanging slogan: "The Idea should be reflected on the canvas of the painting.
How do I want the audience to review my works? - I don’t care, how the audience reacts to my works. I met people, who scolded my works and people who praised them.
In my opinion, contemporary art has reached its heights, so it’s almost impossible to tell something new.
