Nishi Amita Dudhee

Amita Dudhee, also known as Nishi is an artist from the Island of Mauritius. She uses ArtNiche as a brandname for her artwork. Being born and raised on a tropical island of Indian Ocean, Amita imagines beauty in nature through her paintbrush and colours, her creative expressions in acrylic, finds inspiration around the natural landscape of the island.

Some of her artistic creations depicts the natural beauty of landscape, sea, beaches, mountains, animals and plants. Each painting showcases a unique and deep beauty of the creativity and holds beauty in the moment.

As a designer, Amita has been involved in different creative graphic design projects for print and online use such as typography, logo, identity design, branding, advertising concepts, publication layout for brochures, newsletters, e-newsletters, press ads, billboards amongst others.

Her passion in visual arts motivates her to find different inspirations and has steered her on this journey of creative expressions through the romance of paint and brush on a canvas. Let the canvas speak to you about the beauty of the moment.

She holds a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design and Multimedia and a Diploma in Foundation in Art and Design from EDEXCEL, UK in joint collaboration with the Industrial Vocational Training Board (IVTB) Mauritius. She has a National Trade Certificate in Oriental Jewellery Design and Making from the Industrial Vocational Training Board (IVTB) Mauritius.
