Anatolii Podufalov

I was born on 29 January 1963 in Ukraine. I’m married and have two sons.
I’d started painting since kindergarten. A lot of years were spent on improving my works in acrylic in the style of hyperrealism. I’ve been blessed with icon painting by Reverend Anatolii from Odesa. I took part in restoration forks on icons in The Annunciation Cathedral in Kharkiv. I have over 25 years of experience in art.
Painted the portraits of lots of domestic and foreign VIPs; business people, sportspeople, artists, and politicians among them, for example, Michael Jordan, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Maktoum, Petro Poroshenko, Dario Srna, Paulo Fonseca, etc.
My role model of a portrait painting is Nikas Safronov. According to experts, my artworks are equal to him by art techniques. I apply “The evening” Nikas’s work and my portrait, which were painted by one source to comprise the quality of the art.
I made the portraits of the soldiers who died during the Ukrainian Anti-Terrorist Operation in Donbas. Then I presented it to their mothers.
