Ervin Catovic was born on 12 Septembre, 1966 in Pristina. He completed his studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Pristina, where he also completed his postgraduate studies. He spent some time in Italy and France as a part of his further education.
He is employed as a full time professor at the Faculty of Arts in Zvecan, University of Pristina temporarily settled in Kosovska Mitrovica. He is also a full time professor at the State University in Novi Pazar at the Department of Art.
Since 1999 he has been working part –time at the Teacher Training Faculty, University of Belgrade.
His specialized fields are Painting, Drawing and the Visual arts.
He is a member of ULUS, ULUCG and SULU.
