Saoussen Nighaoui

a Tunisian artist painter and researcher, passionate about drawing since childhood, she chose bodily expression to convey her ideas and emotions through the language of the body, face, and gestures to express joy, fear, anger, surprise, and pain...

Obtained her high school diploma in literature from the Presidential High School of Carthage, Tunisia, in 2002.
• She earned a Master's degree in Fine Arts, specializing in printmaking, from the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Tunis in 2006.
• She took a course in drawing and gilding on wood at the Dante Alighieri Italian Cultural Center in Tunis, as well as training in a mosaic workshop in Manouba, Tunisia.
• She obtained a Master's degree in research in heritage and museology from the Faculty of Letters, Arts, and Humanities of Manouba in 2018, with a thesis on the icons of the Greek Orthodox Church of Tunis: inventory, analysis, and enhancement.

• April 2010: Participated in a group exhibition at the Cultural and Sports Center of El Menzah 6, Tunis.
• November 12–22, 2014: Participated in the art event "The Olive Tree and Intangible Heritage – This Is Not a Postcard 3" held in the museums of Sousse, Carthage, and Bardo.
• March 2017: Participated in the exhibition "My Mother, Scent of Spring" in Tripoli, Lebanon.
• July 2018: Participated in the exhibition "Creative Imprints" at the Danniyeh Complex for Care and Development – Sir Al Danniyeh, Lebanon.
• April 2019: Participated in the annual exhibition of the Union of Fine Arts Professions – City of Culture, Tunis.
• July 2020: Participated in the annual exhibition of the Union of Fine Arts Professions – City of Culture, Tunis.
• September 2020: Participated in the group exhibition "Sharing and Colors" at Hédi Turki Art Space, Sidi Bou Saïd.
