My Catalan background, prior to moving to England in 1990, has been critically important to my work. I experiment through the physicality of paint as a medium, and explore a theme of temporality. The representative elements are a record of things that fascinate me, scenes that have disappeared and I wish to immortalize. The paint brings memory to life in the present day.
