Laura Williams

I have just finished my degree in Fine Art: Printmaking at the university of Brighton.
I am interested in the question of what we as a consumer society take for granted in our daily lives and how we assign value to our possessions.
My work obsessively documents contemporary technology that we take for granted. The phone we wouldnt dream of leaving the house without, the MP3 player that accompanies on our commute to work, the digi box that provides the evenings entertainment, are all stripped back to their constituent parts.
